BRAND NEW IN BOXGSC Power Division R2 Billet Camshafts Fits 2003-2005 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII 2.0L Turbo Part Number # 7008S2 6008S2 Stage 2 II Two Evo 8 These GSC R2 Cams for the Evo 8 are designed to rev between 4000-8500 RPMs and should be used with a stroked engine or added displacement engine (2.2L+). The peak lift of 12.0mm intake and exhaust will require upgraded valve springs and a titanium retainer with special attention to seal to retainer clearance. With the lift of this profile, it is suggested to only use the GSC5041/GSC5040 Ti retainer and spring kits due to valve seal to retainer clearance. The GSC5041 Valvetrain Kit is suggested to be used to 40+psi and the GSC5040 Valvetrain Kit up to 32psi on the R2 profile at 8500 RPMs without float or flutter issues. The profile will work fine on the OEM rocker arm and the zero-tick lifter, or with the OEM lifter. These GSC R2 Cams have observed gains of 25-30 WHP over the GSC S2 profile on stroked applications, with much more possible when used with a ported head and aftermarket intake manifold.
