Haeger Floral Pottery VINTAGE Ceramic Burgundy Bowl Planter

Description: Add a little of that turn-of-the-millennium vibe to your favorite succulent array with this 2001 Haegar burgundy and black speckled round planter. Measuring just under 7" in diameter with a 5.25" rim and standing 2.25" inches tall, this 1 lb. piece was proudly made just outside of Chicago, IL. With an incredible history that began in 1871, Haeger Potteries was one of the biggest manufacturers of such pieces in the US until 2016 when they sadly closed their doors after 145 years in business. The bottom of this lovely planter bears three green felt circles to help prevent slips and scratches along with several Haeger stickers: a green and gold one stating "Haeger Floral, Macomb, IL, Made in U.S.A." while a second Haeger sticker bares a UPC code and the "Copyright" date of 2001, no doubt a remnant of when Haeger opened their own brick and mortar stores. However, the shops were eventually closed as Haeger found itself competing with retail partners who also offered their products.
