Handmade Deacon's Stole Violet Slubbed Raw Silk Star Weave Pattern Madonna House

Description: The Order of Permanent Diaconate has now been given fully functioning status in the Novus Ordo Roman Catholic Church. This is a deacon's stole, recently handmade at a religious institution in my area: Madonna House Community of the Lay Apostolate, and designed to fit gracefully worn over the left shoulder, with the two panels joined at the right hip. The stole measures 49”, from the doubled center top to bottom edge, and is 5 14” wide. I think this is raw slubbed silk or cotton in a beautiful medium violet hue, with two woven portions in rough star shaped patterning, each panel 15” long, and with traditional 1” wide ribbon borders and join strap in floral pattern gold and purple. Condition is new, never been used- created for sale as a part of the apostolate of Madonna House Missions, in order to help support their various charities.
