Designed to pull against the end of the bolt hole in the crankshaft, not the face like most other cheap versions of this puller which can mushroom, ruining the end of the crankshaft. Clutch puller has been heat treated, hardened, and coated to prevent rust. All KNS Performance clutch pullers have undergone heavy testing and exceed factory puller specs.
