Description: Heisey Empress (pattern #1401) is a Depression Era line of tableware produced from 1930 until 1939. Items were manufactured in crystal (clear) along with various Heisey colors. Offered here is a Sahara (yellow) color, individual open sugar. It has handles on each side, a footed base, and is marked with the Heisey diamond H on the bottom. It is small, measuring almost 3” high, at the handles, and 4” from handle to handle. The condition is excellent with no chips or nicks, only a couple of production flaws. Heisey Sahara glass can be difficult to find and this is a great chance to add some Heisey color to your collection.
