Description: Hold For Postage postmark struck twice on slightly reduced cover from Santa Barbara CA to Miss Gracie A. Snell, Ft. Atkinson Wisconsin, the 2c stamp (Scott 213) has been mostly removed with only the top right corner of the stamp remaining BEFORE IT WAS SENT as the Santa Barbara cancel is on top of the remaining fragment; had the stamp fallen off during transit, there would be a space where the postmark's ink was on the stamp and there is none -- still Very Fine; a google search for Grace A. Snell showed that she lived in Wisconsin all of her life from 1878 to 1970. She would have been 10 or 11 when this envelope was mailed to her.
