Description: I have been a rock hound for about 55 years, and have a wide variety of different stones, and slabs. I purchased a retail rock shop, that was in business for about 50 years, and then the owner passed away. That was in about 1975. Since then I have collected about another 35 Tons of material, most of it from my claim of 20 years at Graveyard Point. I will have a lot of different stones and slabs that I will be selling. Up for sale is a Hugh piece of Obsidian 9.95 Pounds for knapping or slabbing..It appears to be a rather nice piece of Obsidian. This one is a nice size sorta like an nugget. Lots of material to work with here. The white material on the outside is called caliche, and it is the calcium that is in the soil and sticks to the stone.
