Description: Up for bid is a specimen of Radiating Willemite from Franklin NJ. The Willemite fluoresces Green under all UV wavelengths and has a very long-lasting phosphorescence. There is a layer of Cleiophane a short distance below the Willemite that fluoresce Blue under LW UV. This is characteristic of this assemblage. The Willemite layer is rather thick in the middle so it is hard to see the radiating patterns there. However, the edges of the specimen have thinner layers which shows off the radiating pattern better. First picture is the side view under LW UV that shows off the Cleiophane vein. Second picture is the side under SW UV. Third picture is the side under white light. Fourth picture is the top under SW UV. Fifth picture is the top under White Light.
