Description: Hallowe'en Kat. Krazy Kat by George Herriman was usually printed in Hearsts' papers in the enlarged form you see. Hearst loved the strip, which is why it survived for a long run, but most other papers did not pick it up because it was too weird for other editors' tastes. This is a wonderful sample... test run on ebay. Here is a trimmed page printed in black and white. I did not trim it. The paper is cream-off white and supple. I have owned this since about 1996. If you are using the UK ebay site go onto the US site and check out the rest of my sunday pages. More to come! Comes to you loosely rolled in a mailing tube via priority mail. oldcomix has hundreds of these antique and extremely rare Sunday newspaper pages and will spend the better part of 2021 placing them on ebay. Shipping these delicate pages to you will take place loosely rolled in 3" diameter tubes and I can get up to three pages in each tube. Overseas? I have to ask for a handling charge. Postage to UK and other countries depends on where you live. I will double up the packing material outside the USA because customs opens tubes and they could damage this. Most of my early newspaper comics are unique to ebay. Please note that 100+ year old newsprint is fragile and if you put these in the sun or bright light for even a few hours, the color will disappear and the paper will disintegrate. Ask your framer if they have UV glass and make sure you have a comic cave to display these.
