Description: This piece is big. It only measures 11 and 3/8th inches across, but that combined with its 4 and 1/2 inch height make for an imposing Art Deco glass piece that visually takes up a lot of room. At first I thought this unsigned piece must be Verlys, the sculpting and pattern glass etching are that good, but this piece has visual seams, 4 of them. Not quite up to Verlys standards, I then stumbled on good old Josef Inwald and his marvelous Barolac creations, I hadn’t thought of him in ages. A wonderful centerpiece bowl, fruit bowl, or flower bowl, this is a beautiful example in acid etched glass….no, this must actually be some form of lead crystal, it weighs too much. Anyway, perfect for your home or as a gift, this is a fun and unique find from the greater Atlanta area.
