I am not sure what this is used for but it has a small 1" opening and it could be used for toothpicks it could be used for a taper candle it could be used for a pen or a couple pencils use your imagination. The wood does have wear commensurate with age. There's a sticker on the back that says walnut and there is a sticker on the bottom that says laser engraved and the company Lasercraft. This measures 2 5/8" high x 2 3/16" wide x 1 3/4" deep.
