Description: This 1977 Czech import quadrophonic stereo album of Janáček - String Quartets by Supraphon (4 11 1995) comprises performances by the Smetana Quartet (Jiří Novák, Lubomir Kostecký, Milan Škampa and Antonín Kohout) of works by Leoš Janáček: String Quartet No. 1 and String Quartet No. 2. Album notes are in English, German and French. The outer sleeve shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). The record was pressed in Czechoslovakia (now Czechia) after recording in Prague in 1976. This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
