The 6464-475 Boston & Maine box car was introduced in 1957 and had two independent production runs. Its graphics and lettering are accurate reproductions to actual Boston & Maine box cars frequently seen in the eastern United States during the 1950s. It features a type IIA body mold, plastic AAR trucks, interior is ribbed, sliding doors, electro-magnetic knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. This version has "BLT 2-57 BY LIONEL" heat stamped on each side. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show wear from previous use.
