With up to a 300 lb. capacity, it enables a workman to stand erect and use both hands while on the ladder. After placing it on the ladder, you slide it forward, climb past it, and then slide it back with your foot. It's a great standing platform, and very comfortable for your feet! It also serves as a tool platform. The Quantum Step can be used on either the inside or outside of the ladder. When used on the outside of the ladder, the Quantum Step acts as a tray for a paint bucket or tools or as a sturdy, comfortable standing platform. When used on the inside of the ladder, you have 120 square inches to stand on, rather than just one rung. Now you can stand on your ladder for extended periods without sore feet and bruised shins; you can work with both hands in any direction. The Quantum Step’s unique design helps you work both safer and more comfortably. The Quantum Step is adjustable and can be used on the inside of the ladder.
