Description: A beautiful early Victorian forget-me-not mourning ring! Made of solid 18 carat gold, it has a wonderful, deeply rounded heart-shaped head set with three lustrous seed pearls and is decorated with black vitreous enamelling. The shoulders are forget-me-not flowers and also bear black enamel. To the back of the head is possibly the tiniest locket compartment I've ever seen! With beveled glass and gold friction fit bezel, it contains a minuscule woven lock of hair, easily changed out if desired. It bears an English hallmark for London 1846 with the very interesting maker's mark TE IB and is a charming, beautiful and interesting piece througout. It's in fair to good condition, with some enamel loss and an old resizing visible to the back of the band. It weighs in at 2.0 grams, measures 7 mm across the head and is a ring size 6.75 resizable. All my items are guaranteed 100% as described or your money back, so buy with confidence!
