Description: For your consideration: men’s right-handed MacGregor Tourney VIP V-Foil Forged 1025c nine iron golf set (2-P). Also included, is a Tourney VIP V-Foil Forged 1025/526 GW 52* and a 1025/602 LW 60* for a total of eleven golf clubs. Clubs are unique in that they must have been special ordered/custom built because all eleven irons have the same ferule serial number (575c), all have the same initials (GB) engraved on the top of the back side, and all have the same Rifle shafts (Precision Rifle FCM 5.5 Frequency Coefficient Matched By Electronic Calibration that feel firm to light stiff in flex. Shaft labels are in good shape). Clubs are in nice shape for their age and have normal chatter marks and tiny nicks that are associated with soft-forged clubs (note: chatter marks and tiny nicks, especially on the faces, are hard to see in the photos and can’t all be seen – please zoom in. With exception of a small ding on the leading edge of the GW, and a small ding on the toe edge of the #5 iron, and a ding on the #5 face, there are no big ugly dings. I have circled these in red in the last photo). 2 thru PW faces have no sweet spot browning or brassing of the chrome, and the grooves are in very good shape (note: the GW and LW faces show the most use and have some brassing of the chrome; however, their grooves are still in good shape and have a ton of shots left in them. The GW can be seen at the bottom of the third photo and the LW at the top of the third photo. The brassing of the chrome can not be seen in the photo). The length of the #5 iron is 38-5/8” and favors the longer side “ONLY” if you personally consider 37.75” to be standard length for a steel shafted 5 iron (note: my measurement was taken with a carpenters ruler along the back side of the shaft from the sole of the club to the end of the grip with the club heads last groove parallel to a hard grounding surface). Ferules and detail trim rings are in good shape and have the same serial number for all eleven clubs as mentioned above. Winn Master Wrap grips for the 2 thru PW have retained a good portion of their softness and are in very good cosmetic and playable shape (note: GW and LW Winn Master Wrap grips have some “Winn grip” wear but still have some game left in them).
