Description: Newly finished case for the Marantz cassette players models 5220 and 5200. It has no venting grate on top, simply because the cassette players did not need to be vented. Therefore the case has a bit more walnut showing. The continuous grain turned out pretty well on the sides moving into the top. I have put 3 coats of Watco Natural oil on the case and I sanded in the 3rd coat. i am offering this case for sale if someone does need a case for their Marantz 5220/5200. cassette player. Photo shows 2 cases. This sale is for the top cabinet in photo. Bottom cabinet is sold and is not included. It is constructed of Solid walnut veneer on 3/4 inch thick Radiata Plywood. Front portion of face frame and back side are made of solid walnut. It will have holes drilled into the bottom of the case for feet screws. The bottom is made of solid Pine. Asking $259 + shipping.
