The two major halves of the breastplate are fitted together with slotted rivets which allow for these two plates to be articulated for superior movement over a solid-faced breastplate.The armor is donned and adjusted with a set of side and shoulder straps and adjustable antiqued steel buckles. An exterior waist belt secures its lower half whilst the tasset plates are buckled onto the straps at the bottom of the breastplate.
