Step #2 Spin the rod into the holder. Step #3 Mount the sliding plate on by matching its throat with the motor shaft. (Throats of different thickness are available. Choose the proper throat.) Step #4 Make sure that the motor shaft vertically meets the pin head. Get the rotary bar through the rod and then spin it clockwise until you pull the pinion gear off. NOTES 1. This gear puller is applicable to small motors with pinion gears of up to 11mm in diameter and at most 12mm in height. 2. You are suggested to go slow when you try to pull the gears off. 3. Some pinion gears are firmly glued to the motor. If so, please try to heat the gears up first. If the glue is not melting, you are not suggested to try to pull the pinion gears off.
