Description: This exceptional, vintage mid century Murano, hand blown glass bowl, was made by the master artist, Fratelli Toso in Italy. The bowl features colors of pink, white, gold, and clear combination with a ruffle top. It is a striking styled piece with a latticino filigrana, which us a difficult technique of using white opaque latticino glass, creating very intricate filigree patterns, or thread designs. The bowl also has "twisted" ribbons of pink glass with gold aventurine. Not many blowers are talented enough to make these breathtaking elegant art glass items. This is an original and was made in the 1950s. It is a one if a kind. No two will ever be alike. It measures approximately 7" in diameter, and approximately 2 1/2" in height. No nicks, chips, or cracks. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. No glued repairs or restoration. It will be packed for shipping with loving care.
