Description: These fun and unusual cat earrings made by Nach Bijoux were purchased in Charlieu France in 2022. Selling for less than I paid. This pair features a pair of grey striped porcelain cats on gold plated brass triangle-shaped hoop earrings. 2" drop. These are handmade and hand-painted in Thailand. Nach makes these earrings from porcelain and gold-plated brass. They are fairly light -- they weigh about 2.8 gm each -- which is 1/10th of an ounce. Nadia and Nancy Koch are the two sisters at the heart of the French brand Nach Bijoux. Among other things, they make a line of hoop earrings featuring different animals. These typically are hard to find in the US -- though the SFMOMA online store features a number of their pieces (but not this one). The originality of their creations comes from the use of porcelain combined with other materials such as gold plating and leather. All jewelry and accessories are handmade using unique manufacturing techniques. This item comes from a smoke free, pet free home.
