Description: For sale is 1 skein of beautiful, Italian spun Adriafil Knitcol 50 gms, 137 yards. Enough to knit a pair of mittens or a pair of socks, or a beanie for a newborn. This sale is for 1 skein, but there are 4 skeins in total. I will combine shipping if you purchase more than 1 skein (from any of my sales). Great for a baby shower, the colors are gender neutral. Color: #51 is named Giotto. Listed as a DK weight by Adriafil, it knits up like a light DK.None of the yarn has ever been used. It is not in the original wrapping. Some of the labels may be missing. It is kept in zip-loc bags in a click-sealed plastic bin. Some skeins may have partially unraveled. I have gently wrapped any loose ends around the skein (but not as perfectly as Adriafil did) This is the second lot of Adriafil Knitcol I'm listing.I listed the last lot at 5.49 per skein, which did not sell! This yarn is fine for newborn socks and booties, I would not recommend it for socks if the recipient walks! Because the yarn is spun with pure merino wool with no nylon, socks would fall apart fairly quickly. Adriafil lists this as Super-wash yarn. I would not machine wash it. Please use cold/ cool water and a gentle wool-friendly soap such as Eucalan or baby shampoo to wash your knitted items from this yarn. To dry, do not wring out! Roll up in a towel (like a jelly roll or strudel) and press hard on it. The water will happily go to the towel. Then lay flat on any clean surface (not the wet towel) to dry. you can "pat" it into shape, either stretching it a bit, or scrunching it a tad smaller.
