Description: Older El Lobo hatchet from Council Tool Co. Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. Hatchet is 17 inches long, head is 6 1/2 inches long with the cutting edge at 4 inches. Original handle, you can see where the sticker was removed. Shows a little dis-coloration to the non black surface that would clean with a little steel wool. Has not been on a grinder and retains it's factory edge. The sheath shows light wear from storage, The leather is supple, shows a little darker area around the poll. No loose stitching.
