Description: This is an amazing collection of items from an estate. The owner served in the military during WWII and later had a prosperous career as a physician. These items were presented to him in appreciation for care given during his time as a physician. These are original works done by Mildred Jarvis in or around 1953. The book is handwritten and bound and appears to contain two ink illustrations. The book contains two original poems. Approximate size of bound book 8.75 x 5.75. There is also a beautiful original artwork that appears to be ink and maybe watercolor??? The artwork is not framed. It is approximately 9 x 12. Provenance for artwork handwritten on back. Provenance letter for book is on extremely thin paper and is approximately 8.50 x 7.00 in size. There is a dated envelope also included. Please see photos carefully. All items show age, discoloration, and wear but in overall amazing condition for age and unprotected paper. These items appear to be centered around historical landmarks in Georgia.
