Description: Two-piece Soviet/Russian combat grouping: # 1 = SOVIET STAHLHELM: an original "Model 1940" Russian-style steel combat helmet of late 1950's Cold War vintage, as worn by the soldiers of many Eastern blok countries of the Warsaw Pact (like Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, etc.) Complete with 3-pad liner and full web chinstrap! Inked markings inside the shell indicate manufacture/issue in 1958. Excellent-plus condition overall. # 2 = Original Russian military-issue belt & buckle in excellent condition. Sturdy, webbed belt with leather tab and slide. White metal alloy buckle adorned with Soviet five-pointed star emblem with hammer-n-sickel in the center. The belt measures 39" long in its current configuration but can be adjusted another three or four inches more. The buckle is rectangular in shape and measures 3-inches wide by 2-inches high. Belt retains its keeper and buckle retains its catch, so "fully functional" as is.
