This cheek riser is a two-part system that clamps on the sliding rails and is a very simple install. Slide the riser over the buffer tube, then screw the bottom clamp to the main riser once the riser is in the place you want. Reference pictures in the listing for a mounting example. The cheek riser is made from TPU, which is a very tough, dense, slightly malleable and stiff, rubber-like material that is also resistant against many various solvents and chemicals. Somewhat similar to the feel of a smooth car tire. This is a great way to improve your shooting experience by providing a stable and comfortable cheek weld. Included are 2x M5 screws and 2x M5 nuts to ensure a secure and straightforward installation. A comfortable cheek rest is fantastic upgrade for any Maxim Defense PDW/SB-PDW owner! I personally like to mount it as pictured, with the cheek riser touching the back end. This will ultimately make your shortest retractable position no longer usable, but the other 3 positions will continue to work fine. Made in the USA !
