Description: Hello and Good Day. Up for sale is this incredible, one of a kind, water (or milk?) pitcher from the personal collection of Queen Victoria (1837-1901). This incredible piece was acquired from an officer of the Royal Yacht, Victoria and Albert III who received it as a gift when the yacht was decommissioned ( for Royal use) in 1939. The jug is in wonderful condition for it's age. I see no repairs, cracks or chips, however there is some minor crazing. Please review all photos as they best represent condition. Measures approximately 8" tall and 8" wide from the tip of the spout to the outside of handle. This is a nice sized piece. Wonderful hand painted florals sprigs and bouquets with a lot of goldwork. VR (Victoria Regina) in gold below the spout.. This piece has the Mortlock's garter mark that many pieces of British Royal China have. Upon close inspection (see the last photo), you can see this piece was originally made to go to Buckingham Palace, and this has been rubbed off, I assume when it was placed on the Royal Yacht. This is your chance to own an original Museum quality piece of Royal owned china. I will be listing many pieces of Royal china over the next couple of days, including Wedgwood plate owned by King George III. Seller pays shipping and insurance within the US. Global shipping through eBay's Global shipping program. I will start this piece off at a reasonable buy-it-now price and I will consider reasonable offers. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
