Description: Before you balk at the price - all New England/Massachusetts straight sided Coca Cola bottles are VERY rate - Coke didn't make it's way up this far Northeast until the hobbleskirt era - I have only seen ONE of these sell on Ebay in the past several months - it went for 115 dollars....and it had a TWO INCH CRACK in it (!) - this one is in excellent conditionGeorge Hewitt was a bottler in the late 1800s - early 1900s in Worcester, Massachusetts - I believe he was the first to license the Coca Cola name/logo in Massachusetts - this bottle dates to somewhere between 1906-1911 (1908-1909 specifically) - it was only made for a couple years at best - this one is BIM - with a light SCA (sun colored amethyst) color - excellent condition - I dug it 25 years ago (I don't even really want to sell it) - nice item if you collect early Coca Cola glass bottles
