Description: Rare and custom-made signet ring in a size 8.25. The opal is a large 3.5c 100% natural Australian opal doublet. The opal is especially nice with rainbow sprays of color throughout the gemstone. The fire and color are beautiful and evenly represented throughout the large stone. Lots of twinkling flashing fire in: Blue, Green, gold, red and purple. Some color clarification is needed: We do our best to photograph our opals but, in this case, there is substantially more red and gold fire than the lens wanted to pick up. In otherwords, the ring is better in person. The opal is large and measures in at 15 X 10mm. The reverse side is open to reveal the host rock' ironstone' backing the doublet. It's a very nice doublet, thick and high domed. The setting is solid sterling silver that has been highly polished. The band tapers down in the back to 4mm for comfort. On top, the ring is 17mm knuckle to knuckle, or over half an inch. 5.8 grams. Comes gift boxed and ships quickly.
