Im a 27 year seller of Antiques with 100% positive feedback. Estate find ANTIQUE DRILL MARKED ON CHUCK GOODELL PRATT WITH OTHER INFORMATION AND WHAT LOOKS LIKE 1895. CLEANED OILED ROTATES SMOOTHLY HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO OPEN OR CLOSE CHUCK BUT MAY JUST NEED TO SOAK. I DIDN'T FIND ANY INFORMATIION WHICH IS NORMALLY ON THE HANDLE BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO REMOVE THE CRUD TO LOOK, THE DRILL HAS A BRASS FRAME AND ATTRACTIVE STEEL OR IRON POST BETWEEN THE FRAME AND TOP BUN OR HANDLE. WOODEN HANDLES HAVE DAMAGE AS SHOWN. THE DRILL HAS A DEFINITIVE HEAD IN ITS HANDLE WHICH LOOKS LIKE AN INDIAN HEAD. I'V NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. THE HANDLE IS A LITTLE LOOSE , I DIDN'T ATTEMPT TO MESS AROUND THERE . I BELIEVE THIS IS A COLLECTIBLE DRILL DUE TO ITS CONSTRUCTION. IT MAY BE ONLY THE CHUCK IS A GOODELL PRATT AND THE REST MADE BY A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER. AGAIN I COULD EASILY CLEAN THE HANDLE BUT WILL LEAVE THAT DECISION TOM YOU.
