Description: This patch is more than 100 years old and is a US Army patch from the WW1 era. This is known as a “Liberty Loan” patch. They are called Liberty Loan patches because they were made available as part of a final war loan promotion and made available for sale at stateside PX’s and overseas embarkation points at the end of WW1. Entirely machine made, using a technique that was developed in the early 1900’s. First a strip of base material is fed into a loom, then colored thread is worked into it, completing the design. Usually constructed of thin cotton or artificial silk. You are buying the patch pictured. No international shipping. _gsrx_vers_827 (GS 7.0.13 (827))
