Description: This is a rare, vintage Telefunken Jubilate Model 5161W tabletop tube radio with AM, FM, and 2 Shortwave radio bands in a beautiful wooden cabinet. These were made by Telefunken in the late 1950s and early 1960s, which was known for its quality manufacturing. It has been tested and works and sounds great especially with FM. It comes with the power cord and wire antenna. Watch the video to hear and see this wonderful vintage radio in operation. This would make a great addition for a collector or anyone looking to enhance their home with a great looking and sounding radio and conversation piece. The inner and outer knob controls on the front panel include: Volume / Tone and FM / AM/SW1/SW2. The switches are for each band and an off button (chipped). The radio operates pm all 4 bands and the FM sound and reception is very good with the included FM antenna. AM and shortwave bands were tested and stations were heard but weak - there could be a problem with these bands or antenna, but I'm not an expert. The cabinet is in very good condition with some minor mars and scratches consistent with age including some minor white paint spray on top. The Off button is chipped. The dial and tuning lights work. There is minor damage to the gold trim on the bottom and some discoloration to the volume and tuning control knob caps. The electrical cord has paint on it but is in good condition. See photos for exact condition.
