Description: Featured is a rare collectible vintage Thursday, March 12, 1959 dinner menu from the m.v. "Straat Banka" of the Royal Interocean Lines. The front shows three Puffer fish in vivid color. Royal Interocean Lines was originally founded in 1902 as Java-China-Japan Line for the routes in the Far East. After WWII it merged with another company and became Koninklijke Java-China-Paketvaart-Lijnen (KJCPL), later becoming Royal Interocean Lines. It became one of the world's largest and most powerful shipping companies. The menu measures 9” x 11” closed and 11” x 18” open. It is in good condition, with some toning and wear on the edges. The "Balmi Diana" in the poultry section was changed to "Salmi Diana" with a blue pen. Please use the included photos as a condition guide.
