It is 5/16" in size and it ratchets and tightens in the clockwise direction only. It will click when the proper torque is reached for this wrench #. This older model 901 should be rated at 60 in # like the newer 902 model with a 5/16" hex...but I am not 100% sure. They changed the style of this wrench with the 902 on.
