Description: This listing is a model from our friends at Roundhouse of an Overton baggage car that was specially created to commemorate the NMRA Pacific Northwest Region Silver Anniversary event in Eugene, Oregon in 1973. While we were over here being crushed under the Soviet occupation, facing gulags and Brezhnev's eyebrows; the well-heeled railway modellerati of the Pacific Northwest were enjoying the hospitality of Eugene, Oregon while clad in leisure suits and smoking Winstons. If you were there and checked out of your Howard Johnson's with a hangover and empty pockets, and accidentally left your commemorative carriage on the nightstand, you are in luck. There is an updated model commemorating the Spirit of '73 to be found in Estonia. This is an assembled kit. I did not assemble it. It appears to have very little rail time. During my possession of the unit, it has none. The unit has some cosmetic flaws or blemishes. They are noticeable in the photos. I bought the carriage for a kitbashing project that I read about, and have now subsequently decided not to undertake. The unit is equipped with knuckle couplers and upgraded wheels.
