They have been carefully stored in a dry and smoke-, pet-, mold-, and sunlight-free environment. There may be some delicate wear to some edges but nothing that materially affects their quality. I often take photos using different lights, with different backgrounds, and from North- or South-facing windows, and at different times of the day. These factors can always affect the colors that you see in photos. In addition, be aware that the Ebay background-remover tool sometimes produces rough edges.
