Later editions would published under the title "The Ebony Cookbook: A Date with a Dish.” This book is exceptionally rare when signed and inscribed by DeKnight, who was the first food editor of Ebony Magazine. This book is considered the first major cookbook written by an African-American for an African-American audience. Please see pictures and consider them part of the description. The major flaws are the jacket, as you will see, but the book itself is clean and in very nice condition. Some of the pictures are from before I put the jacket in an archival protector, because I find that you can see the flaws more clearly that way!
