Description: For sale is an antique Singer Sewing Machine manufactured in 1952. Cat. BZ 9-8 SS AU52-16-1, SERIAL NUMBER AK522047. Comes with original wood case. Foot pedal operated. Original cords. No cracks or warps to the case or mount. Clean but does smell somewhat musty from storage. Owned by my great grandmother and purchased new by her. The machine has been tested and the motor works however due to age and non use for nearly 50 years plus, the belt does notch catch as the belt itself is also original and might need to be oiled or replaced if you wanted to put the machine to use. I can not tell if the light works as the bulb in the socket I can not get a good grip of to remove and didn't want to force it causing any damage. The case locks but the key is long gone. Any small flat head screwdriver can easily open the case. The sewing machine weighs nearly 30 pounds.
