Description: Collectible Solid Wood Duck Decoy - Handmade, Hand Painted, Artist Signed 1/93. This handsome duck decoy is stunningly detailed, realistic, and sturdy. It was hand carved with amazing attention to detail, down to each feather. The artist, Richard Moyer, signed & dated this duck on 1/93. The production company is Beaver Dam Decoys from Cortland, OH. The only damage I can see seems to have been present in the wood itself, not caused by use or mishandling. There is a small divot in the duck's back and a cluster of scrapes on its beak - all of which are painter over. Otherwise, the paint & structure are still in perfect condition. This duck has startled me several times because I thought there was a live animal in my house... so if the pictures didn't make it clear, he's very realistic!
