Five volume set bound in 1/4 red leather over marbled boards with matching pastedowns and endpapers. Five raised bands with text and decoration in gilt on spines. Numbers I through XIX of the "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" are printed here. Volume 1 also has a Doyle story "The Voice of Science." And Volume 2 has "A Day with Dr. Conan Doyle" by Harry How illustrated with photographs. The volumes are in good condition with shelf wear, rubbing to leather, wearing to board panels (volume 5 being the worst.) Hinges are loose but intact. All in all a nice set. #034173 Thank you!
