Description: A rare 1967 promotional poster produced by Elektra Records to promote The Doors self-titled debut album.The simple bold design features the album cover, with white space at the bottom so tour dates could be added. The well used poster is in good condition, having been linen backed for preservation. While a mint example would likely sell for $2000, this has flaws and has been priced accordingly.There are numerous pinholes in the photo of the band, primarily visible as tiny white dots, particularly visible across the top and along the right edge. There is a visible vertical crease running from Jim Morrison's nose to his mouth. Four rectangular stickers and a small round one have been removed from the surface, near the bottom edge, leaving light staining and minor pulls to the paper surface.That said, this is a presentable copy of a very rare poster which will frame well.
