Description: The Motor cycling club was founded in 1901 after a group of enthusiasts met in a London café. The club held race meetings first at Crystal Palace and then Brooklands, where the MCC was one of the first race organisers and participants in the national 1000 mile trial. I have included a picture of the badge in Brooklands Museum. Great collector’s item with interesting link to Brooklands in superb condition with its two threaded fixing lugs in position.
