Description: For sale is a Thunderbolt Across Europe: A History of the 83rd Infantry Division 1942-1945. It was compiled and edited by C.D. Philos Major Inf., an I & E officer, with narrative by Sgt. Ernie Hayhow. It was printed by F. Bruckmann KG., Munich.The book is 12" x 8.25" with 119 pages. It is a hardcover book, with a dustjacket. It is illustrated with numerous black and white photos and several fold out color maps of the localities and troop movements discussed. There are also some charcoal illustrations where no photography occured.The book is in very good condition, with no marks or writing. However, there is a shelf wear on the dust jacket, including many chips and rips, but no major tears. The binding is holding up well, although the pages are lightly tanned.
