Common complaints with those transmissions are rough shifts when cold, soft shifts, lazy kickdown, TCC Slip as well as overheating.The first area of concern leading to those complaints is a worn-out TCC relay boost valve and bushing. When the TCC relay boost valve and bushing wear out, lock-up control and overheating complaints occur.
