For your consideration is this beautiful decorative vintage 1970’s ornately and detailed multi-color hand-painted two-piece lacquered finished lidded round wood trinket box. This trinket box has been in the family since it was purchased back in the day. Since I am in the process of downsizing I no longer have the need or the space for it. The box is made out of solid wood and weighs approximately 6.0 ounces by itself. The box features a beautiful dark black background colored lacquered finish highlighted with multi-colorful hand-painted design patterns around the sides and top of the lid. The inside of the box measures approximately 4.0" in diameter. The bottom base of the box measures approximately 4.50” in diameter and stands approximately 2.0” tall with the lid placed on top. The trinket box features an intricately hand-painted removable lid that is absolutely stunning looking as can be verified in description photos. The side of the lid is encircled with equally beautiful intricately detailed and multi-colorful design patterns. Refer to description photos #1, #3, #4, #5 and #6 for more details about what I have described.Overall the trinket box remains in very good condition for being nearly 50 years old and having been handled throughout the decades. The outside surfaces of the box shows very little age and wear with a few minute and extremely minor surface blemishes from honest age and handling.
