Fashioned after an later accessory version of Triumph 61-6019, (this one is more complex, but more foolproof), this lovely tool will pull the crank pinion of most Meriden Triumph and triples, to my knowledge. It's absolutely essential to remove timing gear from its close quarters in the r/h crankcase.
