Description: This brilliant Peace dollar is a somewhat uncommon and desirable variety. In ite entire history PCGS has seen only 194 of these in any grade. There was a die gouge on the obverse die in Ms. Liberty's tiara that left raised metal that resembles a hair pin. This example has a fairly good strike & there's no sign of cleaning with a 40X loupe or 1000X microscope. It has frosty luster and very nice cartwheel. There is a scratch on the obverse that I don't think the TPG's will let slide. Handling marks are what take it to the lower MS spectrum.
