Their 1966 debut album, UNIQUELY YOURS, presented a band whose sound was a distinctive blend of blue-eyed soul, garage rock, and smooth pop. Two of the band's signature songs are here, representing different sides of their musical personality--the rough-edged rocker "You Ain't Tuff," which was included on the legendary NUGGETS garage-rock compilation, and the swaying, melodic "Not Too Long Ago," subsequently covered by everyone from Nick Lowe to Stampley himself.
