The land is pristine, untouched and the air is clean. I harvest Mormon Tea by hand, selecting the youngest shoots because they make the most robust tea with the greatest vitality. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Directions: Dried stems should be lightly rinsed in cold water and then added to boiling water. In each bag you will find the green photosynthetic stems and possible blooms and seeds I harvested from the shrubs. They are uncut. You may break them before adding to the pot or leave them whole. They should simmer covered for at least 20 minutes. The longer it steeps, the more intense the infusion becomes. Only a portion of each plant is harvested and the trimmings are rinsed well before air drying. After drying, the green stems weigh 25% to 30% less. I weigh and ship after it is dehydrated. Packaged in jumbo slider storage zip-lock food grade bags (14 3/8 IN X 16 IN.).Each bag contains 14 oz.
