Description: ILBE MarPat Gen 2 Radio Pouch NSN: 8465-01-515-8636 This radio pouch is a component of the Improved Load Bearing Equipment (ILBE) system and was designed to carry the radio in the MARPAT Main Pack. It is designed to attach to the inside of the pack, via either straps or buckles. The Radio Pouch can also be used for other items as well. It's great for camping, hunting, hiking, or just about any other outdoor activities you would need a pouch for. There are different versions of this pouch depending on how it attaches to your pack, and you must match up the correct generation and version of the main pack to the radio pouch otherwise it will not attach. If your main pack has black trim and black buckles, you need the Gen 1 radio pouch. To know which version of the Gen 2 radio pouch you need, you will have to inspect the attachment point on the inside of the pack. Open the top of your pack and look inside on the back wall for either buckles (get the Gen 2 pouch with buckles) or metal fasteners (get the Gen 2 pouch with straps) near the top. The radio pouches in this listing are the Generation 2 with straps. Your main pack must have the metal fasteners inside otherwise this radio pouch will not attach. Item Condition These radio pouches are genuine military surplus items in very good to excellent condition. We inspect all items prior to listing. These radio pouches may show some minor signs of use, possibly including dirt, slight fading, stains. All straps and buckles are in great working order and no pieces are missing.
